Merry Christmas everyone! Now that the holidays are pretty much over, I thought I’d check in and let you know what is going on with Unearthed.
You all may have noticed that the Unearthed updates have been rather few and far between lately. This is partially because I haven’t had as much time work on the game due to a demanding work schedule, and also because the work that I have been doing for the game is – well – boring as heck. I’m basically editing word documents! As a result of these two factors, the blog posts have really slowed down.
But rest assured, I am still plugging away on Unearthed. I’ve always played the “long game” with its production, working deliberately and rarely cutting corners, and I intend to continue on that slow-and-steady pace over all of 2015.
I will, however, be making two changes to in how Unearthed is displayed on the website. Firstly, there will be fewer posts about Unearthed on the blog, but the ones that do appear will contain more information. I feel like the little updates I’ve been making are fairly shallow, and they’re starting to clutter up the blog feed.
Secondly, I added a little progress bar to the left hand side of the blog. This will let you folks keep track of where I am in terms of progress on a specific aspect of the game, NOT PROGRESS ON THE OVERALL GAME. I capitalized that second part because it is important. I’m currently working through enemy stats, after which point I’ll adding NPCs that can join your party.
As always, thanks for checking out the blog and keeping tabs on Unearthed. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to email me or comment below.
Oh, well, I can wait some more for this great looking game.
I love the progress bar!
I have been following the progress of Unearthed since its inception, and I am a big fan of Hyperbound. Please take your time with this; true fans can wait and will not be disappointed in you. Earthbound was and still is a rich experience, and I am quite certain that Unearthed will be as well given your time and care.
I wish you the best. Thank you for all of your hard work. Ganbatte ne.
Craig
Thanks Craig! The process is long, but feedback like this helps motivate me to keep plugging away at the game.
