Sorry for the long Unearthed hiatus everyone! I’ve been tied up at work over the last few weeks, and I also had to perform a difficult move across the harsh urban landscape known as Toronto. But, at last, I bring you a new game update: in animated gif format.
All of the herbs have been placed throughout the game’s world. I’ve touched on the herbalism system in the game in earlier posts, but the quick synopsis is this: Mitchell encounters plants across the underworld. He can harvest said plants for restorative items. These plants will grow back, over time, so Mitchell can reap their bounty again. Simple!
I’m not quite sure what I’m going to work on next for the game, but I will try to make some good progress over October. I will likely need to troubleshoot a couple of battle issues, before I take a look at some other key NPCs such as shopkeeps and the like. Either way, it feels good to be placing elements into the game world!
Glad to see good progress, the game is really starting to take shape. Seeing the progress over the last couple of years makes me excited to play Unearthed when it finally comes out. I’ll be patient though, can’t rush perfection. Keep up the good work!
