I don’t really have a central theme for this update, as it is a bit of a mish-mash of sprites I’ve been working on over the last week or so. I have mostly finished up the Grel, and moved on to some “normal people” sprites. First up, are a couple of unique Grel variants. I’m going to leave them without names for now, as I don’t want to reveal TOO much about the game plot.
Next up, I have a melange of people sprites from Mitchell’s brief overworld jaunt. These folks are all just background characters, and are mainly redresses of EarthBound sprites. I wanted to keep the same feel as the original game, but with my own unique, suburban, 80s style variations.
What’s up next? Well, first I’m going to even out the guy-to-girl ratio a little bit, then I’m going to work on a couple of unique people sprites. Check back next Monday (possibly Tuesday) for more updates!
