Sure, it looks like someone puked all over the game, but this apparent confusion and disarray is a very good thing! I successfully fused together all the map tile-sets into one base ROM without badly breaking anything. Well, some things were broken, but they were easily fixed!
On top of that, I also added a bunch of other changes into the ROM that we needed for the final game. These include patches that allow the skipping on the naming sequence, the addition of new event flags to the game, the “blue magic” hack, and a patch that allows for the easy editing of cut-scenes. Many thanks to all the dedicated PK Hackers who brought these ideas to life.
Now that everything is slapped together, I’ll be spending a lot of time map editing and creating a detailed plot for the game. Updates from now will be a little more varied – I’m sure you’re all sick to death of me going on and on about map tile-sets anyways!
