After years of sharing tabletop game projects on this website (and a smattering of other strange locales), my brother and I have decided to create an itch.io page under the banner of Mammoth Island Games + Words. It currently contains only our most popular projects – The Elephant in the Room: Feat Taxes in Pathfinder and Hearth & Blade – but we’ll be adding some additional, smaller projects to it as time goes by.
Itch.io has a lot of nice functionality for hosting pen-and-paper games, including analytics and free file hosting. It’s also bit more accessible than this shambling website of mine, whose images and links have begun to falter under the weight of countless domain changes and WordPress updates. I still have a soft spot for old-fashioned blogs and self-made websites, but this is likely the first step towards letting some of my content shift toward more accessible platforms.
