Hearth & Blade is a homebrew campaign setting for the Pathfinder RPG. Explore Yavmir, a frozen realm steeped in rich Slavic folklore! Delve into ancient ruins, acquaint yourself with strange cultures, and fight to survive in a world the gods have forsaken.
This project was first conceived in 2011, as a way for my brother and I to explore two things we love: Russian folklore and tabletop games. It has evolved from a collection of random notes and disjointed ramblings into a formalized (albeit still raw) campaign setting. If you are interested in using Hearth & Blade in a home game, feel free to dive into the playable beta website that we’ve put together. You can also sift through the various posts we’ve made about the campaign setting below.
All Hearth & Blade content is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 Canada Licence. That essentially means you’re allowed to use, share, and adapt the game, as long as it is for non-commercial purposes and you attribute the content back to us.
